In celebration of Hockney’s 80th birthday the J. Paul Getty Museum, in Los Angeles, presents a two-part exhibition, Happy Birthday, Mr. Hockney, highlighting Hockney’s rarely viewed self-portraits, Polaroid composites and photo collages. Included in this exhibit is Hockney’s Pearblossom Hwy., 11-18th April 1986, #2, last shown in 2008.

Lucien Hamelinck from the blog fic123.be  (Culture US) reports that the sweeping retrospective of one of America’s iconic artists will be at The High Museum of Art. The High is the only East Coast venue to show “Andy Warhol: Prints from the Collection of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation” (June 3 through Sept. 3, 2017.
