In The Oregonian, and featured online at Oregonlive.com, The Fall Arts Guide named “Crepuscular Blue: Prints And Sculpture by Alison Saar” a can’t miss exhibit. Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation brought in master printer Paul Mullowney to work with the Foundation’s staggering print collection to organize a show. Looking through the almost 1,000 artists represented in the collection, Mullowney discovered the work of former student, Alison Saar, an installation artist and sculpture. Mullowney worked with Saar to add sculptures from her Los Angeles gallery, and the pair collaborated on three new prints for the Portland show.
“Crepuscular Blue: Prints and Sculpture by Alison Saar” will be shown from Sept. 7-Oct. 14 at the Pacific College of Art’s Center for Contemporary Art and Culture, 511 Gallery, 511 N.W. Broadway, pnca.edu or 503-226-4391.
