Do Savannah's Kristopher Monroe interviews art collector and philanthropist Jordan D. Schnitzer about the latest Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation exhibition, In Living Color: Andy Warhol and Contemporary Printmaking, open at the Telfair Museums' Jepson Center in Savannah, Georgia, through May 17th. The exhibition features a "who's who" of contemporary artists themed around some of Andy Warhol's most iconic prints.
“Artists from time immemorial have always been the chroniclers of our times. The art in this exhibition — by most of the biggest artists of the latter half of the 20th century and the first half of the 21st century — are the artists of our time. They reflect the issues of our time," said Jordan Schnitzer. Artists featured in the show include Chuck Close, Keith Haring, Ed Ruscha, Frank Stella, Anish Kapoor, and more.
