Lending program Information
CURATING AN EXHIBITION OR REQUESTING A LOAN:
The Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation has been collaborating with museums to exhibit and lend work from its collections since 1997. The Foundation is committed to making work available to qualified museums (see below) without any fees other than transportation and insurance as noted in “Requirements” below. New projects are undertaken at the discretion of Mr. Schnitzer. To inquire about the collections please contact:

Requirements for Qualified Museums:
1. AAM accreditation strongly recommended (exceptions may be considered)
2. Current facilities report
3. Professionally trained staff required for all art handling
4. Climate controlled storage area for packed crates at arrival and prior to departure
5. Certificate(s) of insurance required while art is on premises
6. Prorated shipping expense payable to the JSFF (for traveling exhibitions)
7. Roundtrip transportation with JSFF approved art transport company (for single venue exhibitions and loans)
8. Minimum of one year lead time for a traveling exhibition. (exceptions may be considered)
Restrictions:
While the Foundation tries to make every work available it must respect:
1. Work already committed to other exhibitions
2. Exposure time for works on paper
3. Fragility of work
