Madison Magazine covers the latest art exhibitions to hit Madison, Wisconsin, including Frank Stella Prints: A Retrospective at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. "Frank Stella's prints dazzle," the magazine writes of the exhibit, drawn from the collections of Portland-based philanthropist Jordan D. Schnitzer and the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation.
Roughly 100 prints that the world-renowned abstract artist created over a period of more than fifty years are on view at MMoCA. According to the article, "The works are expansive, vibrant and dynamic, and they reveal a fascinating stylistic evolution."
"One of the reasons I like retrospective exhibitions is it lets you walk into the mind of an artist," said Jordan Schnitzer. "You’re walking into the mind of a brilliant human being. It’s a magnificent journey for all of us."
The retrospective runs through May 15th. Read the full article.
