The Jordan D. Schnitzer Gallery opened at Dieu Donné in the Brooklyn Navy Yard in late October. Artist, curators, collectors and art educators came to celebrate the launch of the gallery, where kids were participating in a paper-making lesson, artist Chuck Webster demonstrated the range of materials and processes available to artists, a dedication ceremony was held in the afternoon, and finishing with a tour of the inaugural exhibition curated by Jennifer Farrell, Associate Curator of Drawings and Prints at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
