The New Art Museum of Sonoma County opened to the public on April 12th, 2015, with its inaugural exhibition Andy Warhol to Kara Walker: Picturing the Iconic, drawn from the collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation. The show features several of the most prominent Contemporary artists, including Andy Warhol, Kara Walker, Roy Lichtenstein, John Baldessari, Robert Indiana, Keith Haring, and more.
Jordan Schnitzer offered a sneak peek of the exhibit to museum donors, board members, and other guests in a private tour on Friday, and a Studio 54-themed gala was held on Saturday to celebrate the new museum.
