Cedar Sinai Park celebrated the groundbreaking for the Harold Schnitzer Health & Rehabilitation Care Center on July 15th. The Care Center will be a community with four 12-bedroom residences designed to truly be home, fostering dignity, privacy, and independence for people experiencing long-term illnesses or disabling conditions. Cedar Sinai Park will also complete a full renovation of the Robison Jewish Health Center.
The fundraising goal for the project is $19.35 million, with over $18 million raised so far. Arlene Schnitzer and Harold Schnitzer contributed a $5 million gift through the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation.
