OPB’s Kristian Foden-Vencil reports that “One of Portland’s most brutal looking buildings is going to get a renovation.”
He describes Neuberger Hall as a concrete bunker with 38 classrooms. The contribution from the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation will help replace that eyesore with the school’s first art museum.
“It’s our job to do our share,” Schnitzer said at the press event Thursday morning, “roll up our sleeves, help improve the community and make it better than we found it,” he said.
