Jordan D. Schnitzer, President of the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation, and Richard Axsom, Senior Curator of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, and contributing essayist to the catalog for the "Andy Warhol: Prints from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation" exhibit at the Portland Art Museum, discuss their partnership in sharing art.
While Schnitzer praises Axsom for his contributions to several Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation publications including The Prints of Ellsworth Kelly, Letters to Ellsworth, Frank Stella: Prints - A Catalogue Raisonné, and Andy Warhol: Prints from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation, Axsom appreciates the opportunities provided by the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation that allow him to work on his passion. Axsom credits Schnitzer for practicing the "ultimate philanthropy; to share, rather than keep back."
The exhibition will be traveling next to the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, GA. It will be on view from June 11 - September 3, 2017.
