Fluid Expressions: The Prints of Helen Frankenthaler opens July 7th at the Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art in Tulsa, OK. Over 20 prints from the collections of art collector and philanthropist Jordan D. Schnitzer and the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation will be on display.
An influential figure in American art of the late 1950s and early 1960s, Helen Frankenthaler was a leading abstract expressionist painter, sculptor and print-maker until her death in 2011. She was one of the early abstract expressionists and a pioneer in the development of color-field painting.
The exhibition is on view through September 18th. For more information, visit the Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art website.
