The Hallie Ford Museum of Art has a new exhibition featureing Enrique Chagoya, “Reverse Anthropology,” from the collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation. The exhibition features 28 works by the internationally acclaimed Mexico-born painter and printmaker, opens on November 3, 2018, and will continue through January 27, 2019.
Enrique Chagoya, who teaches at Stanford University in California, is renowned for his thought-provoking prints. The exhibition features a range of deceptively subversive prints exploring subjects of immigration, colonialism, the economy, the government, the commodification of art, and issues of cultural clash that continues to riddle contemporary life.
