Montana Public Radio recorded collector Jordan D. Schnitzer giving a tour of the exhibit Under Pressure: Contemporary Prints from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation to News Director Sally Mauk. The exhibit at the Missoula Art Museum features over 100 prints from some of the most notable artists of the modern era, borrowed from Mr. Schnitzer’s collection.
During the tour, Mr. Schnitzer explains his philosophy of sharing art with the community through his Family Foundation and muses on his interpretations of several of the pieces in the show and their artistic, social, and historical significance. Ultimately, the exhibit “aims to teach us how ‘to see.’” Listen to the tour on Montana Public Radio’s website.
