Art for All

The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at Portland State University is a cultural and intellectual laboratory that explores ideas relevant to our time through the lens of art, opens the university to its communities, and inspires students and the public to build a just world. The museum occupies 7,500 square feet on two floors overlooking SW Broadway. It offers rich educational and collaborative opportunities, and FREE and accessible art experiences to PSU and the public. Its galleries feature art by Northwest artists, faculty and students as well as exhibitions by national and international artists.

ART FOR ALL from the Collection of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation
November 7, 2019 - February 15, 2020

For its inaugural exhibition Director Linda Tesner curated Art for All: From the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation. The Art for All theme is a synergetic reflection of the Museum’s mission to serve as a creative learning lab that is inclusive and interdisciplinary as well as Schnitzer’s passion to make art accessible.

It will also feature works from winners of the School of Art + Design’s Arlene Schnitzer Visual Arts Prize
