In David Sarasohn‘s column for the Oregonian, he discusses Maya Lin‘s latest vision for her Confluence Project, the multi-site installation chronicling the story of the Columbia River and marking the Lewis and Clark bicentennial. Lin unveiled a model of the final site, Celilo Falls, at a Portland City Club meeting last month, and also announced a $1 million donation from Arlene Schnitzer in honor of her son Jordan Schnitzer and Thomas Lauderdale of Pink Martini.
