Shiny, Sticky, Smooth: Pop Art and the Senses examines the sensory language of pop art. The artwork demonstrates that pop art shattered the division between everyday experience and high culture, not only through subject and process but also by enticing the senses.
Drawn from the collections of Jordan Schnitzer and his Family Foundation, Shiny, Sticky, Smooth features the work of Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Wayne Theibaud, James Rosenquist, Claes Oldenburg, and more.
