The Palm Springs Art Museum is transforming its lobby with an Andy Warhol theme, hosting printmaking residencies, creating a music station ad providing a variety of on-and off-site programming to better highlight the Andy Warhol: Prints From the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation runs from March 3 to May 28 at Palm Springs Art Museum and features the pop artist’s most iconic images.

Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU Opens
Evergreen reporter, Angelica Relente, writes of the opening ceremony for the new Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at WSU, which opened April 6th, 2018. The Crimson Cube houses six galleries and 10,000 square feet of exhibition space.
During the ceremony Schnitzer spoke of John Baldessari's influence and his ability to change the world by being an artist. Baldessari's work is on display in the Harmon/Wright gallery.

Teen Pendleton Artist Gets Boost From Major Art Collector
15 year old Alysha de Martinez held her first show at the Pendleton Center for the Arts where real estate developer, Jordan Schnitzer, bought her first piece.
“I was extremely impressed with the quality of her acrylics and collages — so impressed that I bought two of them,” Schnitzer said. “Equally impressive was her maturity, her demeanor and her confidence in herself.”
Warhol in the Park Reaches Young People Across the Coachella Valley
Sunday, March 18th, colorful paintings of Marilyn Monroe, Campbell’s Soup cans, flowers, and endangered species spread across a wall at Fashion Week El Paseo on Sunday, when more than 100 children participated in Warhol in the Park.
